Who Is Jesus?

Testimony from Stacie Ruth, Founder:

Jesus loves me. Guess what? It’s not a lullaby. It’s true! Jesus loves you. And I'm not just a young "idealistic" person. I've seen a lot...including a head-on, fatal accident.

Horrified, I witnessed a head-on collision of a car and helmetless motorcyclist on the highway. But Jesus didn’t leave me on the roadside. He held my sister’s and my hands as we hovered over an accident victim, a wonderful husband and dad of two. The victim, Lyle, bled to death before paramedics arrived. But we prayed with him to receive Jesus just before he died. Now, Lyle, the accident victim lives in Heaven.

Today, if you were killed in an accident like that, would you enter Heaven?

Let Jesus speak for Himself.

First of all, everyone deserves a hell sentence. (Hey, I'm not the one to say this. God did.) But God provided a way to save us from hell. He loves us! Do you want to know God now?

I'll let Jesus speak for Himself:

recognize sin.

"He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."

"But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after the killing of the body, has power to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him."

repent.

From that time Jesus began to preach, crying out, Repent (change your mind for the better, heartily amend your ways, with abhorrence of your past sins), for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

But He kept still and did not answer at all. Again the high priest asked Him, Are You the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One), the Son of the Blessed? And Jesus said, I AM; and you will [all] see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power (the Almighty) and coming on the clouds of heaven.

obey.

Jesus answered him, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that unless a person is born again (anew, from above), he cannot ever see (know, be acquainted with, and experience) the kingdom of God.

Jesus answered, If a person [really] loves Me, he will keep My word [obey My teaching]; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home (abode, special dwelling place) with him.

believe.

"For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.

For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.

He who believes in Him [who clings to, trusts in, relies on Him] is not judged [he who trusts in Him never comes up for judgment; for him there is no rejection, no condemnation--he incurs no damnation]; but he who does not believe (cleave to, rely on, trust in Him) is judged already [he has already been convicted and has already received his sentence] because he has not believed in and trusted in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [He is condemned for refusing to let his trust rest in Christ's name.]"

Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies...

Jesus answered them, Do you now believe? [Do you believe it at last?]

"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me."

God, I confess I am a sinner. I've ignored you and offended you. I'm sorry. I believe You, Jesus, died on the cross in my place and took my punishment. I now receive You and Your gift of eternal life. I ask You, Jesus, to be my Savior and Lord. Please live in me, Jesus. Please rule my life. Thank You for Your complete forgiveness. Thank You for adopting me as Your child. I love You, God. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
